A tribute to every life touched by cancer.

Inspired by my sister SHONDRA, a cancer survivor, this artwork honors the courage found in the midst of life's most difficult journeys. It is dedicated to those facing cancer today, those who have come through it, the families and caregivers who stand beside them, and the beloved souls whose memory we carry forever.

Courage does not always look like fearlessness. Sometimes it is a whispered prayer, a helping hand, a moment of rest, or the strength to face one more day. In seasons of uncertainty, may we find comfort in the care of others, resilience in love, and enduring faith in the Most High.

With its tender pink drapery, floral details, and meaningful imagery of prayer and wings, Shondra's Courage is a heartfelt reminder of compassion, remembrance, hope, and the strength of the human spirit.
